what's new at bandon
When Sheep Ranch opened, we thought we might be ready to tie a bow on the resort and call it finished. But when we listen to you, our guests, we keep finding there are ways to add amazing opportunities and improve our existing experiences to make your next visit to the rugged coast of Oregon even better.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s ready to explore on your next trip as well as what’s coming next.
More than two decades into the history of Bandon Dunes, the resort team still challenges themselves every day to make the guest experience even better.

A new restaurant at Old Macdonald: Located behind the 18th green at Old Macdonald with views of the Ghost Tree, the Ghost Tree Grill is coming soon. The resort’s largest restaurant, Ghost Tree Grill will certainly become an anchor for your next visit!
Charlotte’s BBQ AT The practice center: Fast, fun, and informal, with great barbecue options, Charlotte’s is simply a great spot to hang. Located at the Practice Center, Charlotte’s is Bandon’s newest dining experience. The restaurant’s name is an homage to Charlotte Dow, the wife of Shorty Dow, the caretaker of the Bandon property before it became a golf course. When Mike Keiser purchased the land and began the development of Bandon Dunes, Charlotte opened their home to construction crews and all those who visited, becoming the hospitality center for operations. With that in mind, it is fitting that the new hub of the Practice Center is named “Charlotte’s.”

Main Lodge room renovations: The Lodge at Bandon Dunes is the epicenter of activity at the resort and opened in 1999 as the first lodging option on property. It includes 17 single rooms as well as three spacious four-bedroom suites that were all newly renovated this past year. If you’re looking to dive straight into the Bandon culture look no further!

Main Lodge Patio: Soaking up the incredible views of Bandon Dunes’ home hole was always a given. When you add the largest firepit on property, heated seating protected by a beautiful pergola, and an incredible dining menu accompanying the space, you have the perfect environment for your group’s next favorite hang.
Chrome Lake Lodges: Tucked away in the coastal forest on the banks of Chrome Lake sit 21 secluded buildings that have welcomed our guests since the early 2000s. Next up: our team is starting the next phase of room renovations and we can't wait for you to check out how Chrome Lake evolves.
